Mastering the Forging Weight System
Gone are the days of simple "3 Iron + 2 Coal" recipes. The new Weight System (introduced in Winter 2025) calculates weapon stats based on the average multiplier of all ores used.
1. How Multipliers Work
Every ore has a hidden "Multiplier" value.Iron (1.1x) is better than Stone (1.0x).Galaxite (18.5x) is the current meta king.
The Math: If you mix 1 Galaxite (18.5x) with 9 Stone (1.0x), your weapon will NOT be god-tier. The Stones "dilute" the pool, dragging the average down.
This is why filling empty slots with Coal (0.4x) ruins your weapon damage.
2. The Eye Ore Trap (Instant Death)
Eye Ore has a massive 25.0x multiplier, making it tempting. However, it carries a curse:
-10% Max HP per ore.
- 1-4 Ores: Safe, but you are squishy.
- 5-9 Ores: Risky. One hit might kill you.
- 10+ Ores: INSTANT DEATH. You will spawn with 0 HP and die forever loop. Do not do this.
3. Recommended Strategy
For the best results, use Pure Forging. Don't mix tiers unless you are activating specific traits. For example, a Full Titanium Sword is better than a Titanium + Stone mix. Use this calculator to find the "Break Point" where adding one more high-tier ore doesn't significantly boost your stats.
